I love wood and I love good wine and I think, the two come together very well. I went on designing few quick concepts of wine storage/display racks for home, bar or restaurant. The idea was to use bent wood. Thick bent modules can be made by layering veneer and glue in a jig, that shapes these layers into necessary form and keeps them pressed inside until glue is dry. There is a technology which allows to speed up process of fabrication of such parts 5-10 times. It involves using epoxy glues and placing pressed part into a RF (Radio Frequency) chamber instead of heat chamber. Radio frequency makes molecules of epoxy glue vibrate and quickly heat up. Heating epoxy causes it to accelerate hardening process.
